eLibrary Named a 2019 CODiE Award Finalist

Redesigned interface is a contender for EdTech award

Novice researchers can get overwhelmed easily, especially when it comes to selecting a topic. ProQuest’s eLibrary simplifies research for students, guiding them through the most stressful parts of the process – including choosing a research topic.

And after a major eLibrary redesign in 2018, the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) has named it a CODiE finalist in the Best Reading/Writing/Literature Instructional Solution for Grades 9-12 and Higher Education category.

eLibrary, a staple in schools worldwide, is designed to support novice researchers. It helps students discover interesting topics based on current events and issues that matter to them. More than 11,000 editor-created “research topic” pages have the information students need on people, places, historical events and eras, literary genres, current events, broad curricular themes and more.

For more than 30 years, the SIIA CODiE Awards have honored thousands of software, education, information and media products for excellence and innovation in technology – including many ProQuest products.

This year’s winners will be announced on June 11.
