Serving the needs of patrons who are working to advance their careers, tune into business and technology trends, or explore new software, this collection--created and curated by O’Reilly--serves the business and technology needs of a wide range of users. Included are hundreds of books and videos for makers, gamers and tinkerers; more than 100 hobbyist titles including STEAM Lab for Kids and The Lego Build-It Book, Volumes 1 & 2; more than 900 books from the “For Dummies” series; and more than 150 titles on job-seeking and career development.

The O’Reilly for Public Libraries Basic subscription includes more than 5,100 titles and more than 3,500 videos on essential business and technology topics. To keep this critical content fresh, The O’Reilly for Public Libraries: Basic collection uses a rolling wall model in its curation. It includes Tech Books/Videos from the current year and the two previous years, and business books from the current year and the previous three years. Each year, the oldest year of material is removed and new content is added throughout the coming year to present users with a rich and growing foundation of timely information on business and technology topics. O’Reilly’s creation and curation of this content ensures that public library users will have a timely digital research environment featuring material from world-renowned innovators and corporate leaders.

Appropriate for multiple learning styles and approaches, the O’Reilly for Public Libraries collections (Basic and Complete) include both a top-notch, curated collection of books, and videos to support multiple approaches to learning and exploration from your patrons.
