ProQuest Recent Newspapers offers recent editions of essential and most-requested newspaper titles. Users are able to search PDF images of every part of every page, including full-text news articles, photos, advertisements, classified ads, obituaries, cartoons, and more. Newspapers are available individually, as standalone titles, and can be combined with ProQuest Historical Newspapers of the same title, where applicable. Coverage for Recent Newspapers begins in the late 2000s and goes through the most recent month. Over the course of 2022, we will improve content currency to within one week for most titles. Some exclusions apply*.

Together with ProQuest Historical Newspapers and Global Newsstream, ProQuest Recent Newspapers delivers complete news coverage, giving researchers breadth, depth, content, and context all in one place.

* Reduced coverage delay does not apply to The New York Times, Toronto Star, or Honolulu Advertiser.
