University of Southern Queensland Selects Ex Libris Alma, Primo, and Leganto

Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce the University of Southern Queensland has chosen the Alma library services platform, Primo discovery and delivery solution, and Leganto course reading list solution.

ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA, December 13, 2017 – Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) has chosen the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform, the Primo® discovery and delivery solution, and the LegantoSM course reading list solution as the university’s next-generation integrated system to serve students, academic staff, and library patrons in the community. USQ selected Alma, Primo, and Leganto primarily for the return on investment that these solutions have demonstrated at customer sites around the world.

Carmel O’Sullivan, Director of Library Services at USQ, explained, “We are focused on providing an excellent student experience by leveraging the best technologies. Our goals in choosing Alma, Primo, and Leganto are threefold. First, we want to transform the ways in which our students interact with USQ Library Services. With Primo and Leganto, students gain from an intuitive, consistent user experience that helps them use library collections for learning and research . Second, with the workflow efficiencies  provided by Alma, Primo, and Leganto we expect that USQ Library Services staff members will have more time to improve existing services, create new services, and develop staff capabilities. Finally, we hope to make USQ Library Services sustainable and scalable by taking advantage of a new system that can support both current and future needs.”
