ProQuest Welcomes James Holmes to Lead Global Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience

ProQuest nameS James Holmes as its Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience.

ANN ARBOR, MI, June 16, 2016 – ProQuest has named James Holmes as its Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience. In his new role, Mr. Holmes will lead the development and execution of innovative strategies across the ProQuest enterprise.

“Jim brings more than 25 years of experience in managing director and sales leadership roles. I’m confident he will make an immediate, positive impact on our go-to-market activities,” said Kurt Sanford, ProQuest CEO. “We’re delighted to have Jim join our senior leadership team.”

Mr. Holmes was most recently at Markit Ltd., a diversified provider of financial information and technology solutions, where he was Managing Director and Head of Americas Sales, as well as a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

Prior to Markit, Jim spent more than 22 years at Thomson Reuters, where he held a number of leadership roles including President, Global Accounts and more recently, Managing Director, Americas Region, with responsibility for sales and marketing, account management and customer training. He was also a member of the Operating Committee.
