Mondragon University Chooses Ex Libris campusM Mobile Solution

Ex Libris is pleased to announce Mondragon University has chosen the campusM® Enterprise platform for creating the university’s digital portal.

BARCELONA, SPAIN, June 14, 2016 – Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that Mondragon University has selected the Ex Libris campusM® Enterprise platform for creating the university’s digital portal. The multilingual solution will foster communication between users.

Academic Vice-Rector Jon Altuna said, “The university has multiple digital services, with even more to be digitized, and they are accessed through a number of different platforms. As our community is already very digital, we saw an opportunity to create a unique portal that will enable our users to access these services and help us build a stronger community of digital users. We believe that campusM will increase the satisfaction of our university community with our services and provide us with more knowledge regarding community needs.”

One of the first applications to be deployed on campusM will enhance students’ learning experience by communicating real-time information such as course timetables; improve student life, by sharing day-to-day information such asnews and notifications; and extend library services, among others. Later developments will assist the university in providing services to students, staff, alumni, and possibly even wider audiences to increase their engagement.

The university chose campusM because of the extensive experience of Ex Libris in addressing the needs of educational environments and integrating its products with university systems and services. In addition, campusM will support direct access to all university systems with a consistent user interface and single sign-on.

Ofer Mosseri, corporate vice president and general manager of Ex Libris EMEA, said, “I am delighted that  Mondragon University has chosen campusM, with its proven ability to drive engagement, raise satisfaction, and help promote community involvement.”
