Cameron University to Improve Discovery with ProQuest

Cameron University demonstrates a commitment to improve the discovery experience for its users by selecting 360 Link from ProQuest.

SEATTLE, WA, February 26, 2014 - Cameron University demonstrates a commitment to improve the discovery experience for its users by selecting 360 Link from ProQuest. Adopting and implementing this discovery solution supports the belief that technology should benefit both the library staff and the library patrons.  360 Link will reduce the regular maintenance needed for their resources and free up time for the library staff to focus on higher return activities.

"We selected 360 Link for its easy-to-use interface, the need for less regular maintenance. We also appreciated 360 Link's seamless interoperability with our other Serials Solutions' products, and our experience with Serials Solutions' excellent history of customer service," shared Mandi Smith, Technical and Electronic Services Librarian.

The addition of 360 Link to Cameron University’s existing subscription to the Summon® service provides a more effective path to access their resources and support its mission to provide their students an environment conducive to the creation of knowledge. The library staff recognized the benefits of working with one vendor and only having to manage a single Knowledgebase; and realized how that could enhance the discovery experience for their patrons.

Powered by the most complete, accurate, and up-to-date knowledgebase available, 360 Link delivers the highest number of links and the most accurate links, even when metadata is missing. Setting the industry standard with authoritative, enriched, and continuously updated data, 360 Link will empower the library staff at Cameron University to reduce the library workload and offer an elevated discovery experience to their students.
