Seattle, WA, November 26, 2013 - St. Clair County Community College has transformed their library with the help of Serials Solutions, a ProQuest business. The management and discovery services 360 Link, 360 Resource Manager, 360 MARC Updates, 360 Counter and the Summon discovery service  provided the library staff with the tools to realize their vision of increasing library usage.

"Our library has grown four times the size it was when I took over two years ago and usage is up over 685% in terms of full-text materials accessed and used," shared Director of Library Services, Christopher Rennie. "We are proud of what we have accomplished here, library foot traffic is up almost 20%, and off-campus usage is up astronomically."

The Summon service is proven to increase usage of resources across the full breadth of a library’s collection, without bias to publisher, vendor or content type. Just one reason why St. Clair County Community College, one of the largest community college libraries in Michigan, has repeatedly chosen ProQuest and Serials Solutions services as a trusted partner in helping to improve discovery and management of their library’s resources in order to connect their students to better research results.

As Serials Solutions continues to move forward with innovations it is empowering libraries to move research forward. Rennie comments, "This has been a transformative year for the St. Clair County Community College library, and the contribution of Serials Solutions services is a significant part of that success."
