ProQuest Names Tim Wahlberg to Lead Dialog and Corporate Markets

ProQuest has named Tim Wahlberg General Manager of Dialog and Vice President, Corporate Markets. In his new position, Mr. Wahlberg will manage the Dialog business unit and lead ProQuest’s growing presence in the professional segment of the information market.

“Tim’s collaborative leadership style, strategic orientation and track record of driving results make him ideally suited to lead the Dialog team, particularly as our new ProQuest Dialog™ service rolls out, setting the stage for hearty growth,” said Annie Callanan, ProQuest COO. “I’m confident we’ll see Dialog’s pattern of strong leadership continue with Tim at the helm.”

Mr. Walberg joins the ProQuest executive team from Thomson Reuters, where he held a variety of strategy and operating roles. As Vice President of the Corporate Segment, he was responsible for building a rapidly growing business providing information, software and services to legal and compliance departments in corporations. Mr. Wahlberg was also Vice President of Global Strategy, where he helped the organization to accelerate growth, improve profitability and establish strategic roadmaps for entering new markets. Before joining Thomson Reuters, he was a strategy consultant with Mercer Management Consulting in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Wahlberg holds an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a BA from the University of Minnesota. He will be based in ProQuest’s Ann Arbor headquarters.
