Berkeley Electronic Press Joins the Serials Solutions® KnowledgeWorks Certified Program

Serials Solutions announces that academic publisher Berkeley Electronic Press has joined its KnowledgeWorks Certified Program as a content provider, supplying data for 51 journals to more than 360 libraries.

Serials Solutions is pleased to announce that the academic publisher Berkeley Electronic Press (bepress) has joined its KnowledgeWorks Certified Program. As a KnowledgeWorks Certified content provider, bepress will supply data for 51 journals to more than 360 libraries, guaranteeing mutual subscribers the most current and highest quality metadata.

“We’re glad to join the Serials Solutions KnowledgeWorks Certified program,” says Barbara Kaplan, Vice President of Business Development at bepress. “We’re committed to providing the best discovery experience [we can] for our libraries and their users.”

Supplying KnowledgeWorks Certified data to Serials Solutions means libraries will have easier and more extensive access to bepress’ content, says Kaplan, and “that means happy librarians and happy patrons, too.”

Bepress is the 35th KnowledgeWorks Certified content provider and its journals are rigorously edited and peer-reviewed by some of the world’s best known and most widely published scholars.

The KnowledgeWorks Certification program helps Serials Solutions develop the best possible relationships with content providers, enabling Serials Solutions to maintain the highest quality bibliographic metadata for journals and eBooks in KnowledgeWorks. Greater collaboration with content providers also helps our librarians to more quickly resolve issues if they occur.

“We’re excited to have Berkeley Electronic Press join our program,” says Sherrard Ewing, Provider Relations Specialist at Serials Solutions, “Their membership provides a huge benefit to libraries.”
