Serials Solutions® Announces 360 Link Connections through Google Books

Serials Solutions has announced that it has integrated the Serials Solutions 360 Link OpenURL link resolver service with Google Books.

Serials Solutions has announced that it has integrated the Serials Solutions 360 Link OpenURL link resolver service with Google Books. This integration enables new avenues of eBook discovery for library patrons. As a 360 Link resource, Google Books provides detailed information about books in print, including previews, tables of content, and in some cases, full copies of books.

The partnership extends the reach of 360 Link beyond the content held within the library to detailed collections available online. Using Google Books through 360 Link, patrons can find new information to supplement their research.

“A connection to Google’s repository of eBooks information allows patrons to easily access an ever-expanding universe of published works through their library’s content discovery systems,” says Cliff Gilley, Product Manager at Serials Solutions.” Our goal is to continually provide new pathways to information for library patrons.”

Google Books support is available as a free opt-in for all 360 Link users.
