California Digital Library Chooses Serials Solutions 360 Resource Manager for E-Resource Management
California Digital Library (CDL) has chosen Serials Solutions® 360 Resource Manager and 360 Counter to manage and assess the CDL’s electronic resources and shared licensing activities.
CDL’s rigorous evaluation process, including a detailed set of functional and business requirements, determined that a hosted solution would be preferable to a locally managed system for operational and staffing reasons. After in-house demonstrations and testing, CDL chose 360 Resource Manager and 360 Counter, citing Serials Solutions for the following reasons:

CDL has signed a 5-year subscription agreement for 360 Resource Manager and 360 Counter. 360 Resource Manager will allow the library to control licensing, e-resource lifecycles, cost, collections, overlap analysis and more, using Serials Solutions’ integrated KnowledgeWorks knowledgebase. CDL has also purchased Serials Solutions 360 Counter e-resource assessment service to provide accurate, COUNTER-compliant usage analysis of cost data tracked within 360 Resource Manager. All ten University of California campuses will have read-only access to CDL data tracked in both 360 Resource Manager and 360 Counter.
