Serials Solutions Announces Major Enhancements to Ulrichsweb.com and Ulrich's Serials Analysis Service
Serials Solutions, a business unit of ProQuest, has announced major enhancements to Ulrichsweb.com and Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System. The service updates, designed to enhance functionality and increase usability, are the largest in 18 months.

New functionality is now available for both Ulrichsweb.com and Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System. Ulrichsweb.com provides the latest information available on more than 300,000 serials worldwide. The service has enhanced its comprehensive serials discovery through the addition of A&I databases to Ulrichsweb.com records displays, updated links for the 2006 Science and Social Science Impact Factor journals, and connections between Ulrichsweb.com and JCR(R) Web accounts that facilitate linking at the journal level. As part of the October 2007 release, there is a new look for Ulrichsweb.com, the first update to the site in years.
New reporting features added to the Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System will benefit library professionals worldwide. It is now possible for users to convert list prices into more than 15 major international currencies, all from within an active report display. New functions allow users to limit their report results to titles available in online full-text or titles designated academic or scholarly in the Ulrich’s database.
Users now also have the option to display LC classification numbers in reports, and additional ISSN designations (such as Cancelled ISSN, Title History ISSN, and Merged/Incorportaed ISSN) in ISSN Audit Reports, and new major A&I resources in Aggregator Comparison Reports. The additions to the Ulrich’s Serials Analysis System toolkit make it easier than every to identify and evaluate details about serials, whether or not they are part of the library’s collection.
