Supporting North American Libraries Through Baker & Taylor’s Closure
Helping libraries adapt through the transition

We share the library community’s sadness at the news that Baker & Taylor will be winding down operations in the coming months. For decades, Baker & Taylor has been a trusted partner to libraries and vendors across North America. We understand that this development is unsettling for many, and we want to assure you that we will provide proactive support to our customers throughout this transition.
Since the announcement, our team has been in daily contact with Baker & Taylor, working to understand the full impact on current and future orders. We are actively researching solutions to ensure continuity for your collections and services. Our priority is to minimize disruption and provide clear guidance as the situation evolves.
We have already individually contacted all customers affected by this change. If you have open orders placed via Rialto or OASIS, please know that we are working on potential solutions and will keep you updated as soon as more information is available.
In the meantime, we ask that customers in North America do not place new print book orders through these platforms. Any new orders will be held, but not processed, until further notice.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your account manager or our customer service team.
We will continue to communicate frequently with affected customers as we navigate this change together.
NOTE: If you are based outside of North America, this message does not impact the status of your print book orders.
