The latest release of 360 Link enhancements add to the major development work over the past year to fully re-designed and improved linking for researchers
ProQuest continues to improve the research experience through 360 Link. The latest release of 360 Link includes significant enhancements which add to the major development work over the past year to fully re-designed and improved linking for researchers.
The most significant aspect of this release is new integration and display of Ulrichsweb™ and Syndetic Solutions™ data for mutual customers within the 360 Link Sidebar Helper frame and results pages, along with direct linking to serials in Ulrichsweb. By bringing Ulrichweb data into 360 Link, users can easily determine additional details about journals they are linking to such as the journal’s peer review or open access status, a brief description, frequency of publication and more. Syndetics integration provides cover images for more than 14,000 journals and millions of books to add a dynamic visual element to the 360 Link display.
Mutual 360 Link and Ulrichsweb customers can immediately take advantage and activate this feature by simply checking boxes in the 360 Link administrative console. There is no programming, configuration or development required.
Additional features available in this latest 360 Link release include:

- New Citation Linker form provides easier access to full text for those who know a citation or need to correct citation metadata
- New preview functionality for Custom Links – makes it easier for libraries to customize the interface and configure their own custom links
- CrossRef Look up integration offers users a way to conveniently search for a DOI link to content in the event other 360 Links fail
- Index-Enhanced Direct Linking functionality is available for 360 Link API users
- Customizable Public Database and Title-level Notes now display on the 360 Link Sidebar Helper frame and results pages
