California K-12 Students Get Expanded Access to ProQuest Resources for Virtual Learning
ANN ARBOR, MI, September 14, 2020 – As Californians begin a school year like no other, access to authoritative databases for teaching and learning is critical. Through the California K-12 Online Content Project, managed by the California State Library, all public school districts and charter schools in the state get unlimited access to a wealth of ProQuest and other resources for the duration of the 2020-21 school year. These resources – made available since 2018 through schools – will also now be available through public libraries across the state.
ProQuest resources available through the Online Content Project include the CultureGrams®, SIRS® Issues Researcher, SIRS® Discoverer, eLibrary®, ProQuest® Research Companion, Schools and Educators Complete and ProQuest Central™ Student* databases. In addition to resources from ProQuest, the Online Content Project also includes materials from Britannica and TeachingBooks.net.
