Keystone Library Network Opts for Ex Libris Alma and Primo Solutions

Ex Libris is pleased to announce the Keystone Library Network has selected the Alma resource management service and Primo discovery and delivery solution.

CHICAGO, IL, April 25, 2016 – Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, is pleased to announce that the Keystone Library Network (KLN) has selected the Ex Libris Alma® resource management service and Primo® discovery and delivery solution. The Pennsylvania-based consortium of 18 academic and research libraries will be upgrading from the Ex Libris Voyager® integrated library system to the cloud-based, multitenant environment of Alma and the completely redesigned Primo user interface.

In an effort to further unify the libraries within the consortium, the Keystone Library Network sought a shared-services platform and sophisticated analytics that could benefit all members. With all of the open APIs that Ex Libris has made available, KLN will be able to quickly move to a seamless platform and enjoy a consistent look and feel when managing every workflow in the library.

Eric Hines, president of Ex Libris North America, remarked: “We are delighted to welcome our first Alma customers in Pennsylvania. Among the members of the Keystone Library Network are the 14 institutions of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). It is gratifying to see a Voyager customer moving on to the powerful combination of the Ex Libris Alma and Primo solutions, which are unified into one platform that benefits both staff and patrons.”
