David Bowie died on January 10th, 2016 and the world lost a major musical talent.  Many tributes have appeared on the internet, and in print, and ProQuest would like to honor the Thin White Duke by highlighting how he has influenced scholarly research.  Below are a small sampling of the Dissertations written that focus on David Bowie and we are sure his legacy will continue to excite and challenge researchers to explore his influence and importance.
