Bloomsbury Unlimited-Access Ebooks Now Available in the OASIS® and Rialto™ Marketplaces

ProQuest is enabling more than 10,000 arts, humanities and social sciences ebooks from Bloomsbury Collections for acquisition through the OASIS and Rialto marketplaces.

ANN ARBOR, MI, June 9, 2020 – ProQuest is enabling more than 10,000 arts, humanities and social sciences ebooks from Bloomsbury Collections for acquisition through the OASIS and Rialto marketplaces.

Bloomsbury Collections, the ebook platform of Bloomsbury Academic, publishes innovative and forward-thinking scholarship that provides the global academic community with a rich and compelling range of titles reflecting the latest critical thought and insights across a wide array of humanities and social science disciplines. The platform includes content from such prestigious imprints as The Arden Shakespeare, Methuen Drama, T&T Clark, Hart and I.B. Tauris.

“We know from extensive feedback that librarians want the ability to order our content at the title level, and they want to order within their existing OASIS and Rialto workflows. This collaboration makes that possible and provides librarians with the options that best serve their needs,” said Lenny Allen, Global Director of Sales and Marketing, Bloomsbury Digital Resources. “This is critical to ensuring our scholarly content is accessible on the widest scale, and Bloomsbury is thrilled to be partnering with OASIS and Rialto to make this a reality.”

“Expanding the OASIS and Rialto marketplaces is more important now than ever before as librarians meet the demands from students and faculty for ebooks and other digital media for remote learning,” said Audrey Marcus, Vice President, Books Product & Operations at ProQuest. “That’s why we are pleased to add Bloomsbury Collections, a highly sought-after publisher, for ordering through OASIS and Rialto.”

Bloomsbury Collections is one of many publisher-direct options available for acquisition on the ProQuest OASIS online ordering platform long used by librarians to select and acquire academic content, and the Rialto next-generation marketplace built to unify and streamline selection and acquisition workflows for academic libraries. Librarians can choose ebooks and streaming video from a rapidly growing number of platforms within their usual ordering workflow.
