Overview

Patron Selection is simple and risk- free. Custom profiling leveraging the expert book metadata provided by Coutts ensures you only include titles you want to purchase, allowing your end users to decide which ones you buy.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Develop a subject profile with your Collection Consultant.
  2. Use this profile to shortlist MyiLibrary, ebrary and EBL and EBSCO ebooks that meet your requirements, using either a one-time file or an ongoing weekly series of new title files.
  3. Remove titles you already own or don’t want to consider.
  4. Load titles into your catalog for your patrons to use.

Free viewing is offered on any ebook table of contents or book description, first use of an ebook title does not trigger a purchase and there’s no time or page-view limit on first use.
