Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad Selects Serials Solutions 360 Search to Improve Discovery of E-Resources
Jan. 20, 2011 – Seattle, Washington & Ahmedabad, India – Serials Solutions, a business unit of ProQuest LLC, announced today that the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad (IIMA), a leading graduate school in India, has selected and successfully implemented Serials Solutions 360 Search. The hosted 360 Search service will be used by the IIMA to more easily connect students and other patrons to its library content.
Over the past year, the IIMA considered several major federated search engines, but selected 360 Search after impressive results during beta testing. During the trials, librarians discovered that with 360 Search, a user can type a single query and quickly derive results from all of the IIMA library resources. Librarians also appreciated the customization options that provided them with the ability to tailor the service to accommodate all levels of users.
