On Saturday, March 24, 2018, some ProQuest editors chose to attend many of the student-led March for Our Lives marches against gun violence and mass shootings to observe and document the events. March for Our Lives was sparked by the shooting deaths of 17 students and educators at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018. The event was organized by Marjory Stoneman Douglas students and others from the #NeverAgain movement in collaboration with Everytown for Gun Safety, a nonprofit organization which advocates for gun control and against gun violence. The main march took place in Washington, D.C., with over 800 sibling marches across the globe. See March for Our Lives events through the photos of ProQuest editors from across the country:
