This year, ProQuest sponsored the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ) conference. The Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica is a statutory agency under the Ministry of Education, formed by an Act of Parliament, which was passed in December 2001, to supervise and coordinate the work of Community Colleges in Jamaica. The Council is comprised of members of the Colleges, representatives from other sectors of the tertiary and secondary education system, as well as members of business and industry.
ProQuest sponsored and participated in this annual conference, themed “Leading Change! Empowering Communities” which took place in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Antonio Alba, ProQuest’s Regional Sales Manager had the opportunity to present not just our services and products throughout the conference, but he also delivered the presentation entitled “From the Drawing Board to the Final Paper: Technological Solutions to Enhance and Support College Research and Information Literacy instruction.”
ProQuest would like to thank Dr. Donna Powell-Wilson, Executive Director of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica who is pictured here between Thais Casanova, eTech Regional Sales Manager and Antonio Alba, ProQuest Regional Sales Manager.
