Jisc is committed to providing learners at all levels access to essential resources. ProQuest has partnered with Jisc to provide a custom collection of 73 ebook titles for Further Education (FE) students across the UK.
FE institutions serve 16-18-year-olds in the UK and focus on preparing learners for employment. FE colleges have also put a bigger emphasis on English and math in recent years. Many institutions are working with local employers to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of the local economy.
The special collection of 73 titles includes content from Hodder Education, Bloomsbury, Taylor & Francis, and Pearson. It emphasizes core subjects on the syllabus for A Level, BTEC and NVQ students. The titles were chosen with extensive community consultation for their relevance and currency. The collection is available through the ebrary platform and accessible to learners anytime, anywhere.
