Beyond subscribing to a discovery service like the Summon service, what else can you do to help your users discover and evaluate content?

Adding ProQuest Syndetic Solutions™ enrichment content—cover images, table of contents, summaries, reviews, and more—to the Summon service allows you to further aid and improve discovery of your content.

Syndetic Solutions™ is expanding its cover image options to include premier Serial Cover Image content from Ulrich’s ™.  For clients who subscribe to the Syndetics Cover Image element as well as the Summon service, more than 14,000 images are now available to display in Summon results lists for journal and article results.

Syndetic Solutions content supplements all the rich metadata and full text that is already in the Summon index.  Together the Summon service with Syndetic Solutions:

  •     Makes content more discoverable
  •     Enables users to easily evaluate results
  •     Increases resource usage
