On September 1, as part of a completely redesigned library website, Brown University went live with the Summon™ service to their user community. Using the Summon API to create a unique user experience, Brown prominently displays a single search box on their library’s home page that by default searches across “everything”—both their catalog and the Summon™ service. Users are then presented with a split screen of results showing “Books & more” from VuFind and “Articles & more” from the Summon™ service. To read more about Brown University’s selection of the Summon™ service, read the press release.
